Supplier Agreement

David runs a small dry-cleaning business, and his business has grown quite a lot in the last recent years. He was faced with the tough decision of having to employ a bookkeeper or whether it would be better to employ an outsourced bookkeeper as a supplier.

David does not deal with many transactions, and he therefore would not have sufficient work to keep a bookkeeper busy for 8 hours a day. Financially, it makes sense to appoint an outsourced bookkeeper. He decides that it is more cost-effective to work with a bookkeeper that was referred to him by a colleague and to engage that person as a supplier using the supplier agreement obtained from Contract4biz.

This agreement allowed the sensitive information, that the bookkeeper was going to be exposed to and to be safeguarded under the provisions of the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”) and it also set out all the expectations between them in a clear way so that they clearly understood each other’s expectations so that they were able to do business together in a meaningful and valuable way!
